Roof Technician / Installer
Job Summary: Lone-Star Roof Systems, LLC. offers our clients a variety of options for their roofs. A roofer will maintain/repair/replace these roofs as needed.
- Prior experience in roofing.
- Must be trustworthy and able to work for periods unsupervised. Must demonstrate teamwork and willingness to get along with others. Must show a desire to learn, and be a self-starter.
- Valid state motor vehicle license and transportation.
- Able to meet physical demands required of this job.
- May require after hours and/or weekend work.
Sheet Metal Technician
Job Summary: Work in the shop, breaking metal as needed.
- Prior experience with sheet metal machinery.

Sales Representative
Job Summary: Consult with new prospects and existing clients in regards to preventive maintenance, roof repair services and roof replacement services.
- Utilize door-to-door and phone-based consultative sales skills.
- Investigate and diagnose roof conditions and develop scopes of work and pricing.
- Ensure customer databases are updated.
- Develop/maintain relationships and expand service offerings to clients.
- Understand workflow and job processes within the company.
- Generate estimates and proposals for residential or commercial re-roofs.
- One or more years' experience in developing and maintaining client relationships, and/or one or more years' trade work experience; residential/commercial roofing preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn new software.
- Travel required.
- May require after hours and/or weekend work.
Project Manager
Job Summary: Supervise and manage all aspects of jobs in progress while keeping good rapport with clients.
- Be present during the tear off to inspect for any hidden damages and to handle negations regarding any additional repairs.
- Monitor the installers while they work.
- Inspect the finished roof for completeness and compliance to code.
- Record retention. Documents for the project will be kept on file at the office.
- Ensure customer databases are updated.
- Develop/maintain relationships and expand service offerings to clients.
- Understand workflow and job processes within the company.
- One or more years' experience in developing and maintaining client relationships, and/or one or more years' trade work experience; residential/commercial roofing preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn new software.
- Travel required.
- May require after hours and/or weekend work.
Estimator
Job Summary: Analyze and evaluate new construction plans and develop an accurate calculation of squares required for installation, as well as create a proposal for pricing.
- Continually check for new plans.
- Measure and total up all roof and accessory plans in a timely and orderly manner.
- Maintain a running file of all estimates created in alphabetical order by builder/developer.
- Understand workflow and job processes within the company.
- Generate estimates and proposals for new construction development.
- Bachelors degree and or Masters degree.
- One or more years' experience in using measuring and/or take off programs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn new software.
- Minimum travel required.
- May require after hours and/or weekend work.
Office Staff
Job Summary: Must be prepared to do whatever office duties are assigned including, but not limited to, the major responsibilities and duties explained below.
- Perform basic office duties such as answering the phone, filing and maintaining records, scanning and faxing documents, etc.
- Maintain social media platforms including writing a weekly blog, updating Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, & Panaramio.
- Understand workflow and job processes within the company.
- Bachelors degree and or Masters degree.
- One or more years' experience in an office environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn new software.
